Streetlight Lens BK-LED-632 from Bicom Optics
An asymmetrical lens, designed for LEDs such as Cree's XB-D and XP series; 18mm long x 9.74mm wide x 7mm height; molded from UV-stabilized optical-grade PC; boasting over 90% transmission efficiency. The U.S. Department of Energy has announced the competitive selection of three projects for solid-state lighting (SSL), in response to the SSL Manufacturing R&D funding opportunity announcement (FOA) DE-FOA-0000561. These two-year projects will focus on achieving significant cost reductions while maintaining quality by improving manufacturing equipment, processes, or monitoring techniques.
