We have just announced this years' program for the symposium with high profile speakers including Michael Ziegler from the Photonics Unit at the EU Commission, Dr. Hans Nicol, Philips Lighting, Prof. DI Andreas Schulz, CEO LichtKunstLicht AG and for the workshop Prof. DDr. Sergei Ikovenko, MIT.
There will be 8 sessions with a total of 26 presentations which will cover topics such as Disruptive LED & Light Conversion Technologies, LED Optics and Electronic Systems Design, LED Production Technologies & Materials, LED System Standardisation & Measurement, LED System Reliability and LEDs in Outdoor Lighting Applications.
Delegate registration has opened at a 15% reduced early bird rate and registration for the exhibition is free until June 30th. The LpS 2011 was a huge success with more than 50 exhibitors and over 700 visitors. These numbers are expected to increase in 2012.
