Important Holiday Shipping Announcement for Framing Customers 

In order for us to ship picture frame orders by December 20, 2010, we will need to have your orders entered in our system no later than Wednesday, November 24th at noon EST.  Please help us get everyone's holiday orders filled in a timely manner - order early!

New England Museum Association

SmallCorp will be exhibiting at the 2010 New England Museum Association's annual conference in Springfield, MA, November 3rd through the  5th. Stop by and visit us at booth 10!
Nueva York Opens

SmallCorp completed the installation of Nueva York, a joint presentation of the New York Historical Society and El Museo del Barrio in early September, and the exhibit was opened with a speech by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

This intriguing exhibition reveals the powerful role that Latinos and Spanish-speaking countries have played over three centuries to help shape New York into the most culturally vibrant city in the world. The exhibit was created by John Esposito Design Studio, and executed with the collaboration of NewProject and Pure + Applied Studio.

Nueva York Entrance

 

Installation in Chile 

Next week Van and Molly will travel to Santiago, Chile to install a custom thirty foot long SmallCorp exhibit case at the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art.  The case will house some of the museum's world famous Pre-Columbian textile collection. It includes custom designed high-color-rendering motion activated dimmable LED lighting and self-closing drawers, among other features. In addition to the casework, we will be outfitting the entire Textile Gallery with motion-activated LED lighting.  The Textile Gallery re-opens in December.
