Whatever Happened to the Neighborhood Service Station? |
Be careful, don't date yourself, but do you remember the days when you could stop by the local corner gas station and the attendants would come running out to check your oil, your tires, and clean your windshield? They were there to offer you free advice and give you directions to where you wanted to go. If you needed an oil change they would do it while you wait, and offer you a cup of really nasty coffee in a Styrofoam cup, and you were pretty sure it was made from used axle grease.
Whatever happened to that great little place? It grew up and was renamed Precision Auto Service. We still offer those same great services, but we eliminated the bad coffee. We welcome you to stop in any time and we will gladly, check your oil, clean your windshield, install new wiper blades, adjust your tire pressures or change a light bulb while you wait and send you on your way with a cup of purified water and a smile, all without an appointment. If you want you can even surf the Internet while you wait.

| Lifetime Warranty Plan |
Have you ever heard an offer that was too good to be true?
Well we thought we had as well, but over the last few years we have been investigating a warranty offered by automotive lubricant and chemical company BG Products.
BG has been producing high quality products for over 35 years and a few years ago they started offering a 240,000 KM warranty on major vehicle components when you use their products to service them. About a year ago they upped that warranty to the life of the vehicle. This warranty is simple, administered by us and can be transferred to anyone in your family.
All that is required is to service your vehicle as normal using their product. The engine oil must be changed at least every 7,000 KMs and the other covered components every 50,000 KMs.
Covered components are:
- Engine (Internally lubricated components)
- Transmission (Inernally lubricated items)
- Drivetrain (Differentials and Transfer Case)
- Brake Calipers, Master Cylinder, ABS Hydraulic Components
- Radiator, Water Pump, Heater Core
- Power Steering Pump, Rack and Pinion/Gearbox
The only condition is that the vehicle servicing must start before 120,000 KMs have elapsed.
