Invitation: WIAAP Visiting Professor August 12, 2011
Keith Mandel, MD, Vice President of Medical Affairs for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, will meet with Wisconsin pediatricians Friday August 12 from 10:00am - 11:30am at Children's Corporate Center in Milwaukee to discuss enhancing medical homes and asthma management. 

 

The meeting will occur after his presentation at 8:30am at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin pediatric grand rounds on medical homes and asthma.

WACPPJoin the Wisconsin Alliance of Child Psychiatry and Pediatrics (WACPP)

WIAAP leads the way in providing assistance for physicians in the realm of mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment. We have opportunities for members to become involved as follows:

WACPP (Wisconsin Alliance for Child Psychiatry and Pediatrics - This collaboration, which coordinated the monthly mental health teleconference. WACPP is a group of pediatricians and child and adolescent psychiatrists who are interested in working to strengthen working relationships between our specialties with the goal of improving the assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders for children and adolescents within the State of Wisconsin.

Milwaukee Mental Health Task Force Planning Committee - Youth Mental Health Summit 2012

The Milwaukee Mental Health Task force seeks a primary care MD representative who could be involved in the planning of the Youth Mental Health Summit to be held next spring. Duties would include monthly meetings for approximately two (2) hours on the first Friday of each month in Milwaukee.

The next meeting (ground floor opportunity) will be held on September 9, 2011 (off sequence because of the Labor Day holiday). Please contact Barbara Beckert barbara.beckert@drwi.org if you or someone you know may be interested.
