The AAP is calling for nominations for the 2010 AAP Child Health Advocate Award.
The Award was established in 1991 to recognize the significant accomishmet of public officials and private sector advocates who have served as a voice for children in state and local government
. This award recognizes these individuals for their contributions to child health and safety and serves as a stimulus for continued action in child advocacy.
Individuals may be recognized for a single significant achievement or for a career dedicated to advocacy for children. Please carefully consider the historical background, aspirations, significant accomplishments and personal and professional integrity of the individual you nominate.

Wisconsin Medical Society Pediatrics Section Delegate (Liaison)
Young Physicians (Liaison)
To be considered for a chairmanship or liaison position, please submit your CV or biosketc (<250) words and brief statements on the following:
- In your view, what are the most important issues statewide for the chapter to consider?
- Why do you wish to serve on the WIAAP executive committee?
- What would you like this committee to accomplish in the next three years?
Expectations of members:
- Meetings are held three times per year: January/April/October with venues around the state. Members are expected to attend at least two meetings per year.
- Committee chairs and liaisons must submit at least one report per calendar year to update chapter leadership and members of the committee's activities, accomplishments, and challenges.
- To communicate committee and liaison objectives, information and news, leaders should regularly provide updated information for the chapter web site, monthly email messages and The WIsper newsletter.
