Thanks to Holly Greenwood, a tarot card reader, rootworker, chicken fancier, and my very own sister, we are now raising a new batch of six Black Cochin Banties, shown here at the age of nine weeks old. These are great little birds of a rare breed. Holly got them as day-old chicks and brought six of them to us as they began to fledge out and get their feathers. We have a mixed run of pullets (young hens) and cockerels (young roosters) in the pen, and four of them are Frizzles. At least two are roosters, and we want to find homes for them. We will supply these young birds in PAIRS --- a pullet and a cockerel in each pair, and at least one in each pair will be a Frizzle.

These hand-raised, ultra-tame Black Bantam Cochin Smooth Coats and Frizzles are for PICK-UP ONLY (no shipping) and the price is $20.00 per pair. If you only want a rooster and no hen, the price is $8.00 per rooster.

It's short notice, but we are coming up on an Apprenticeship Week in December, 2010 -- and there are still slots open!

The Lucky Mojo Apprenticeship Program is a FREE three-week series of lectures, personal training, and hands-on guidance in the history, preparation, and use of conjure supplies.

The Apprenticeship consists of nine lecture classes of 3 - 4 hours each, and nine hands-on training sessions of 3 - 5 hours each.

      Week One: Herbs, Candles, Special Waters 

      Week Two: Oils; Incenses; Mojo Hands 

      Week Three: Baths; Sachets; Jack Balls 

Apprentices need not take the three weeks of sessions in order.

To join in the Apprenticeship Program you must be a Graduate in good standing of my Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course . Non-graduates are eligible for Apprenticeship training if they bring all of their Homework with them when they come. Apprentices are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, to provide their own room and board, and to attend all 40 hours of studying, learning, and making spiritual supplies. Two party meals are supplied during the week, a Potluck Lunch catered by the Lucky Mojo Staff and an Apprentices Dinner catered by Robin. Upon finishing all three weeks of Apprenticeship, a certificate is issued at no cost, signifying that the training was completed.
