AAACTA'S Middle School Program
Wraps Up 11th Year!
AAACTA's 2012 Middle School Program posted winning numbers: 175+ kids, the most ever, led by 48 volunteer coaches - 27 adults and 21 high school players.  Three intrepid volunteers, Helen Peters, Barbara Wasneski, and Linda Woodland coordinated the program's zillion details.

The season ended with a rockin' ralleyball tournament at the UM Varsity Tennis Center on June 8, where the smiles were, well, too numerous to count.

One parent says it best...

I just want to thank every last person who worked so hard on the 6th grade tennis tournament this past Friday. From all the coaching and mentoring that took place at each school, to the wonderful rally tournament on the beautiful courts at U of M, from t-shirts to pizza, from busing to water bottles -- you were very generous with your time, your organization, and your considerable talent! You put a racquet in the hands of someone who probably wouldn't have tried and we are so appreciative that our daughter was exposed to this great sport with eager support and teamwork from your fine organization.

Thank You to Two Middle School Program Supporters

This year's Middle School Tennis Program was supported in part by a generous grant from the
Midwest Youth Tennis & Education Foundation, a philanthropic entity of the United States Tennis Association's Midwest Section.

The University of Michigan Varsity Tennis Center is one of the finest facilities in the country.  Use of the courts for the Ralleyball Tournament was a generous donation in support of Ann Arbor community tennis.
