The things we do...
- Middle School Intramural Program
For the past 10 years, AAACTA has offered a free tennis program in all six Ann Arbor public middle schools. The season wraps up - memorably - with a ralleyball tournament at UM Varsity Tennis Center. Almost 200 kids participate. - Ann Arbor City Tennis Tournament
Since 2000, AAACTA has planned the Ann Arbor City Tournament, one of the oldest city tennis tournaments in the country, established in 1919. On the final day of the tournament AAACTA celebrates with Town Tennis - an all-city, all-fun afternoon of Kids Clinics, free food and final competition viewing.
Charity Events AAACTA has raised nearly $15,000 for other organizations by hosting charity tennis events to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims and the Haiti Nursing Foundation.
We're pleased to tell you... AAACTA has been selected as the 2010 CTA of the Year in the USTA Midwest Section for "outstanding service rendered in the community served, and in the growth and development of the sport of tennis."
