Eduardo's Corner
There was a lot of activity for our properties in the 3rd quarter. Among all the activities, we held 6 successful Ferias, hosted our first ever company-wide Town Hall meeting, continued upgrades to our facilities, and premiered new local programming.
Congratulations to all of our stations that hosted La Feria de la Familia. We experienced record crowds and impressive involvement from Telemundo celebrities and internationally recognized performers, not to mention all the important information and resources the event shared with our communities. At the Town Hall we unveiled the 4 ZGS Pillars of Success - grow revenue, drive audience, be local and serve our community. We also identified the prevailing characteristics of ZGS employees. We are innovative, collaborative, aggressive, community-oriented and have integrity. We use these qualities to guide all that we do and set ourselves and our properties apart. We converted several properties to digital including WWDT Fort Myers/Naples , WKME Kissimmee , WTMO Orlando, WRMD Tampa, and WZDC Washington DC.
Everyone has been hit hard by the on-going economic crisis. It is important that during these difficult times we remain optimistic, continue to provide solutions to our clients and support our audience in all the ways we know how. The full team needs to work together to accomplish our goals, provide results and finish the year strong. Let's make one final push! As we look to the future, we are excited about the new President of Telemundo, Emilio Romano and the possibilities under his leadership. We are looking forward to working together to expand the Telemundo brand. Un gran abrazo y saludos a todos.

Every new account and each new contract is a WIN. We must always remember the importance of WINNING. In El Paso, the market is inundated with Spanish Language stations; competition is stiff. Since his arrival Account Executive, Manuel Ulloa had been approaching local dealers in hopes of landing the station's first regional automotive client. After many no's, too many trips and much back and forth, Manuel secured one of the top automotive dealers in the market. The client is positioned to spend over 100K. That's a big WIN!!! Thank you so much to everyone that submitted a WINNING story, we look forward to featuring more in future newsletters. Congratulations to Manuel and remember every WIN counts!
Speaking of WINNERS, our Olympic Challenge between Horacio Badia and Marlene Abrahantes continues. The winner will be announced next year so stay tuned for updates! Wishing you all a WINNING 4th Quarter!!!
