We kicked-off 2010 with the ZGS station tour and the theme A New Focus in a New Decade challenging all our stations and employees to maximize the 360 approach.  We continue to expand our product base and our ability to create multi-platform campaigns gives us a distinct advantage for 2011 and beyond.

There were many firsts this year including the first Spanish-language stations to launch HD newscasts in El Paso and Washington, DC, we aired the live Spanish-language broadcast of the Virginia Gubernatorial Inauguration, we organized the Hispanic Marketing Forum in Hartford, hosted the first Fiesta Mexicana in Tampa, created Feria de la Salud in Fresno, celebrated the inaugural La Feria de la Familia in Philadelphia, and opened the first ZGS National Sales Office in Miami.  We welcomed the arrival of two editions of local news in El Paso, a new local morning show on Tampa's ESPN Deportes 1550AM, and new local programming across the station group.

holaciudad.com penetrated the local markets and provided a unique website for visitors emphasizing local, national and international stories that were relevant to our users.  The highlight of this year was the coverage of the 2010 World Cup from South Africa.

We have touched our communities in ways that go beyond the typical media company including hosting 7 extremely successful Ferias de la Familia, our signature literacy program Leer Para Vencer reached thousands of young students, we helped victims of the earthquake in Haiti and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with fundraising efforts, our Lineas de Ayuda provided confidential expert advice and addressed such issues as domestic violence, and the mortgage crisis.  We continue to demonstrate our commitment to our communities.  Our multi-platform approach has made us stronger, more diverse and more competitive.  Time and time again our creative thinking and practical solutions for our clients differentiates us from other media companies.

Thank for all your hard work and dedication in 2010.  We are looking forward to a busy and prosperous new year.  We wish you and your families all the best this holiday season.  Un gran abrazo y saludos a todos.
