SB28 - Your Voice is Important!
Last month we informed YPL customers about Illinois Senate Bill 28 (SB28), that, if passed, could double the airport exit rates (ORD and MDW) for all commercial transportation. At this time, there are no updates to share. The bill was intiated by the Metroplitan Pier & Exhibition Authority (MPEA), and is on hold until Illinois legislators reconvene in November. Our valued and influential clients could be effective in turning this around during the interim.
Your Private Limousine (YPL) has worked hard to provide an exceptional experience while keeping expenses down. Do you want the significant travel expenditure increase Bill 28 would cause?
Please take time to contact your senators and congressmen and express your objections to SB28. YPL's clients can make an impact on the outcome of a tax that will hurt everyone. If they receive intense opposition, there is a greater chance our leaders will take notice of this proposed legislation and rethink this tax.
