| Greetings!
Dear Valued Clients,
You have an opportunity to turn around legislation that targets the transportation industry (limos, taxis, buses). A proposed bill (SB28) will double the ground transportation tax at both O'Hare International (ORD) and Midway (MDW) Airports.
YPL's clients have the power to overturn this bill by contacting their local congressmen and senators about SB28 and fight the increase on your travel expenses!

SB28 - Your Voice is Important!
The transportation industry could be headed towards airport rates doubling, due to Senate Bill 28. The bill, intiated by the Metroplitan Pier & Exhibition Authority (MPEA), is on hold until Illinois legislators reconvene in November. Our valued and influential clients could be effective in turning this around during the interim.
Your Private Limousine (YPL) has worked hard to provide an exceptional experience while keeping expenses down. Do you want the significant travel expenditure increase Bill 28 would cause?
Please take time to contact your senators and congressmen and express your strong dissatisfaction with the implications of this Bill. We believe YPL's clients can make an impact on the outcome of a tax that will hurt everyone. The more letters they receive, the more our leaders will have to take notice of this proposed legislation.
When the House and Senate reconvenes in November, they will be focusing on a "clean-up bill," which does not directly involve Senate Bill 28. Use your clout and influence to fight back. Thank you!
Senator John Cullerton - Senate Majority Leader (217) 782-2728 (217) 782-3242 fax
Senator Christine Rodagno - Senate Minority Leader(217) 782-9407 (217) 782-7818 FAX
Representative Michael Madigan - House Majority Leader

Cut the Chit-Chat and You'll be Happier!
How many people do you know that seem to like having a rather shallow conversation?
It's typically, "Hi, how are you?" "Fine." "Good, glad to hear it." "What's new with you?" "Nothing, really."
END OF CONVERSATION!.
They slide by on this meaningless chatter but
never really find out about the other person. Nor do they try to learn anything real about each other's lives, work, family, etc. Is either one of the individuals really fulfilled or happy? Do they even want to take time to go deeper? Take a look at Jason Hensel's article, recently published online by Meeting Professionals International.
