September 15-16: The Eisenhower Farm will host a living history encampment September 15-16. This World War II encampment will feature Allied soldiers, a German camp, World War II jeeps and trucks, and (off-site) a United Service Organization dance.
September 22 at 6:00 p.m: An Evening with the Painting
Sue Boardman, Licensed Battlefield Guide and an expert on the Cyclorama takes you up close to the country's largest painting. Extended time on the platform and a journey under the diorama to see how the illusion comes to life conclude the evening.
A similar program "What in the World is a Cyclorama" will be offered at the same time on other Saturday evenings. Both programs begin in the Ford Motor Company Fund Education Center. Single adult ticket price is $20 and youth ticket (age 6 to 12) is $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the ticket counter in the lobby of the Visitor Center, or by calling the Reservations Department at 877-874-2478.
