THE RUPP HOUSE OPENS FOR THE SEASON!
WELCOME HOME FRIENDS!
The Rupp House will welcome visitors for the 2010 summer season beginning Saturday, May 8. Located at 451 Baltimore Street, hours expanded to include Friday evenings from 4-7 p.m. Other hours are Saturdays from 11-7 and Sundays from 12-5 p.m. The Rupp House offers members and visitors an opportunity to learn more about what life was like in July 1863 for John Rupp, his family and other civilians of Gettysburg. It also promotes the Gettysburg Foundation's partnership with the National Park Service and benefits of joining the Friends of Gettysburg. Staffed by Friends' volunteers, admission is free and select merchandise is available for purchase. The next time you are in Gettysburg, please don't forget to stop by the Rupp House and visit us! |
