The Crate is FAME's 40 Day/24 Hour
Social Media Challenge where a Captain and his/her crew will be locked inside
The Crate, raising money for four FAME projects. Each team's 24 Hour goal is at
least $1,000, so by the end of our 40 days, we'll have $40,000 + raised for
some amazing projects around the globe! Here's the scoop . . .
What? The
Crate. FAME's 40 Day/24 Hour Social Media Challenge
When? October
1 - November 9, 2010 (shifts begin at 8 a.m.)
Where? Inside a sea shipping container, The
Crate, on FAME's property, 4545 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, IN
Why? To
raise $40,000 + for the following FAME projects:

Purchase
an ambulance for a mission in India.
·
Renovate an out-patient clinic in Haiti.
·
Send a crate
with medical supplies to Honduras.
·
Provide scholarship
funds for students in Ghana, West Africa.
Who? Captain - a strong supporter of FAME
and social media guru. The Crew - 3 - 4 of the Captain's social media-savvy
friends/family members who are willing to be locked in The Crate for 24 hours!
How? Using Facebook, Twitter, blogs,
texting, phone calls, Skype, digital photos and videos, participants will be
given a new challenge each hour, using only social media, to raise money for
their cause.
