Wishing you every happiness and prosperity in the New Year.
Thank you to all of you who have not given up on us and have hung in there and been there for us.
We have had a rough financial start, we saved way more lives than we had finances, but we don't regret it, we had faith and we prevailed, we never gave up even though many did give up on us.
We can't get everyone to believe in us, but for those of you who do and those of you who do support us, you have and did make the difference, without your support and faith in us we could not have turned things around. Even though we have a long way to go, we now have a fighting chance. We saved the house from foreclosure, we saved the rescues, we did it together!!!! We have much more to accomplish but we turned things around in 2009! Our intention was never to be a full fledged "business" as such, like those that are more corporate, have paid employees and extensive overhead. We are a mom and pop group and we will continue to be one, we do not strive to be a Best Friends Sanctuary or a Humane Society, we are not slick and professional, we don't want to be. We just want to be able to have a place to keep our rescues, to be able to take care of them and to be able to save more lives. To also be able to adopt out the rescues that are adoptable and to be able to maintain those that are feral, unplaceable or have medical needs and need a forever home. We want to be that. Our goal is not to be the biggest and best non profit organization but to remain true to ourselves and focus on our goal, saving lives of homeless animals. Rescue is hard, we do it for the love of the animals, not for self serving purposes, we will continue to strive to stay down to earth, dedicated, true to ourselves and to you. We are thankful, very grateful and never waiver in our devotion to our rescues and helping homeless animals. We may not be perfect but we are sincere and do the best we can.
We want to thank you so much for being there for the rescues and helping us make a difference for homeless animals!
Hoping together we can continue to make a difference for homeless animals in 2010.
