Precious Paws

*UPDATE*

We are continuing to work with the cats in the alley, getting them fixed and relocated, we have put together a team that are working on this.  Meanwhile, five newborns were found this past weekend.  Sadly one has already passed away.  This brings our total to 14 kittens from the alley.  If you can make any donation small or large we are in serious need for funds to take care of these remaining 13 babies.

You have heard of the phrase "It Takes A Village", well the same applies here.  We need the same kind of network for our rescue animals to survive.  We do receive donations when we send out pleas and we are more than grateful, but then the donations stop when we stop asking.  We have gone through all of the donations we received to take care of the kittens rescued over the summer.  We are nowhere near finished with this project and now we have four new babies and we are out of funds.

The needs never stop and we rely on public support to keep going.  Please help us with these babies if you can!

Thanks you for your continued support of the babies!

Please spread the word!

Kittens In The Alley
They have been being killed by an abuser

Hello!

Currently we are working on a situation that is just heartbreaking.  We are saving kittens from an alley where a man is killing them.  He hates kittens and cats so he is taking kittens abusing and killing them.  This kitten, Pebbles, who is 2 1/2 weeks old, was found in a plastic bag to die in this alley this past week.

A friend of ours, who has cancer, is being harrassed by this evil man about the stray cats in the alley behind their apartment complex.  He came to  her door this week with 5 kittens cupped in his shirt, he yelled at her about them being born, like it was her fault that the strays were having kittens in the alley, and told her he was going to kill them.  She begged him to give them to her and he took off with them.  Later she caught up with him and begged him to give her the kittens.  He said he killed them and ate them, yet, he walked her down the alley to show her 2 kittens in a plastic bag yet wouldn't let her take them.  He then threatened her and walked her back to her apt.  She snuck out and found the bag, but there was only one kitten in it then, Pebbles.  She has yet to find the other babies.  She called the police and they said she had to produce bodies in his possession for them to do anything.

Not giving up on finding the siblings alive, she went searching through bushes and such today and instead found a litter of six 5  week old kittens, she could only catch 4, so there are 2 left out there to still catch before this abuser gets his hands on them.  Two months ago she found 2 kittens in the dumpster in the back and we took them in.

Our goal is to catch this man in the act before he harms anymore kittens and to be able to trap, fix and relocate the adults and foster the babies until they are old enough to adopt.   There are a handful of femaile cats and a male cat and the 2 babies she saw today that she could not catch.  Hopefully the siblings of Pebbles are still alive and will surface, but right now that hope is pretty dim.

I know many of you are aware of our financial situation and we cannot afford a project like this right now.  Yet we cannot turn our backs on this situation or do we have any business handling it but it needs to be done and we know how to do it.

If you can help us out that would be great, if you can network this email we would really appreciate it.

Thank you.
