I want to thank you very much for your contribution to Precious Paws through Facebook Causes.
When I joined Facebook reluctantly this year, I never had a clue the people we would reach and the impact it would make on our group, it was just astounding!
I know many of you found out about us through the cause page, "Don't Kill Unwanted Pets at Shelters." I do not know if you even knew the story behind this page which is very interesting. We have one young volunteer, Daniel, who just turned 13 this past May, who one day decided he wanted to make a difference and reach people about homeless animals and help fundraise for our group. He set this page up. He didn't put much up at all, but for some reason, this page has taken on a life of it's own. As of today, this page has over 39,000 members worldwide and it grows in leaps and bounds everyday.
Our page, Precious Paws Cause, hasn't even reached 300! I find it amazing that the title and a cute kitten picture just means everything!!!! Because of Daniel, to date, we have taken in about $1,000 from his cause page. So the lesson here, is no matter what your age, you can make a difference! Daniel is an extraordinary young man and we at Precious Paws are better for knowing him and having him as a very active member of our group.
