UPDATE
Tucker, went in last week for his evaluation. Upon reviewing his xrays, my vet has asked me to bring him back in one month to see how his leg is healing. Contingent upon that, we will know whether he will continue to heal this way or have his leg rebroken and have a pin put in his leg. So at this point, we are at a 50/50. I want to thank each and everyone of you who have donated towards his medical bills and asked about him, we will continue to raise funds for him. so we are prepared if that time comes that he will have to have surgery. My vet did say that under no circumstances would he ever have to have his leg amputated. Please see the xray of Tucker's broken leg.
Thank you so much to all of you who have donated and asked about Tucker, he is one lucky boy that so many people care. He got out alive. Thank you!
Check out his broken Tibia on his right leg, it snapped right in the middle and this is how it is healing.
Tucker will be looking for his forever home, if you know anyone interested in adopting this cute boy, please send them to us!
Please network this email, it traveled far and wide the first time, I want to make sure those who donated or asked about this boy will get the news!

Tucker was hit by a car. A stranger then dropped him off at a veterinarian office. The vet proceeded with an exam, xrays, splinted his leg and decided he would have to have his leg amputated, so he took him to the shelter, of course get rid of the problem, not fix it. A person then came in to the shelter and adopted Tucker. Tucker had a chance, you would think. The new owner determined Tucker would cost too much money and brought him back to the shelter. Aftter a current evalution from the shelter vet, it has been determined that Tucker's leg is fusing and most likely will not need to be amputated but it is not certain. This is where we come in. We received a few emails from a shelter worker with a plea begging to save this little guys life. We are in no position to take in any more rescues at this time, due to our lack of funds but I went to the shelter today and rescued Tucker. I couldn't stand it, I couldn't get Tucker out of my mind. He is 1 1/2 yrs. old, he is neutered, and fully vaccinated. He is now in the home of one of our volunteer's. His leg is not healing straight. He is very playful, friendly, bounces around and doesn't seem to realize he has a splint. Unfortunately, he will be needing more medical attention, this journey is not over for Tucker. He will be seeing a vet this week to evaluate the status of his leg, amputation still has not been ruled out. If you would like to donate toward his medical expenses it would be greatly appreciated. Below is a Paypal button made just for Tucker, and of course, we always accept checks!

I rarely send out these individual pleas for help for a shelter rescue, but this little guy really touched my heartstrings. If you have contributed to us recently, please just know, this email was sent to you in the hopes you would network it to your animal loving friends. You just never know what might happen. Our goal is to heal this little guy so he can find his forever home and have a long and happy life. Thank you.
