Lily
*LILY*

Here is Lily, she was turned into the shelter by her owners.  The shelter stated she was 10 years old, after being seen by a vet, she is more like 15 or 16.  What owner turns in a cat to die at the shelter at this age?  It is just so heartbreaking.  She is now currently at the vet boarding , she has been examined, given a lion cut and bath, as you can see by the pics, she is a bit dirty!  She will receive dentistry tomorrow (Jan. 9) and have two teeth extracted.  Other than her age, she is fine, she received an exam, full blood work up and urinalysis.  Currently her vet bill is a few hundred dollars and climbing, and will be more once the dentistry is completed.

If anyone would like to donate to help pay her bill they can go to our website www.preciouspaws.org (we are a 501 c 3 non profit) and make a donation underneath her picture on the front page of the website or donate through the Paypal button at the bottom of the page.    We would appreciate anything you can donate, big or small, it all adds up.  We did not expect to pay as much as we did but she needed the care and medical attention.   She deserves to be treated special after her owners did this to her.  She has sat in the shelter for almost a month.  Happy Holidays to her.......... not.

She is so loveable, we just don't understand why she would be dumped to die at the shelter, seniors getting out of the shelter are slim to none.  We couldn't let her die there, we just couldn't.

If anyone is interested in adopting Lily, please see the procedures/application page on the Precious Paws website.
