To Churches Who Support The Children's Home of Lubbock:

This Wednesday evening, April 18th, as your congregation gathers, may we ask that you join us in one concerted effort to bless the children?

The Children's Home of Lubbock has been given the opportunity to be awarded a $20,000 grant from a local builder, Betenbough Homes.  Should we receive those funds, they will be used to update a 37 year old kitchen in one of the cottages on our campus.  In the past 37 years, that kitchen has been the scene of countless meals, conversations, and training sessions for children who have come to God's people for rescue from the ravages of abuse and neglect.

To be awarded this grant, we need your help!  The grant will be awarded on the basis of how many votes each of five charities in Lubbock receives on Betenbough's website.

We are currently  in a tight race with another worthy organization.  But with your help, we can have a real chance in obtaining this grant!  TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY morning are the last opportunities to vote (you can vote once per day with every email address you have). 

This Wednesday night, at the end of your services, please ask your congregation to go immediately to their computers and vote for The Children's Home of Lubbock!  If our church partners will work together, we can truly make a difference in the outcome of this contest.
