Chick-fil-A and Painting With a Twist
Take a break from shopping and come help us help the Children's Home of Lubbock!
Just a quick reminder that Painting With a Twist will have their super-special Family Day painting event to help The Children's Home of Lubbock THIS SATURDAY (August 20) from 9 am to Noon. The painting session begins at 10 am.
The painting is called Handprint Garden and what makes it truly special is that you will use the outline of your child's hand as the flowers. Everyone age 5 and up is welcome to come paint (ages 5-8 might need some help from an adult). This painting would make a perfect gift for grandparents (wink) or hang it in your child's bedroom. The cost is $40 per canvas, and proceeds from the class will be donated to The Children's Home of Lubbock.
We're also collecting school supplies to give the kids at the Children's Home. Bring some 2 & 3 inch binders, dividers, markers, backpacks, and Fisk scissors and we'll see that they get delivered to those who need them! Everyone who brings school supplies or registers to paint will get complimentary breakfast provided by our friends at Chick-fil-A. It's gonna be a great day, so make sure you register to reserve your seats!
Again, that's Saturday 9 am to noon. Bring school supply donations and visit with us and folks from the Children's Home and Chick-fil-A. The Chick-fil-A cow will be stopping by, too. Then grab an apron and settle in to paint Handprint Garden from 10:00 to noon. Bring the whole family; it'll be a lot of fun! For more information, give us a call at 794-7928.
