25 Youngsters Were Adopted in 2009  |

At The Children's Home of Lubbock this month,
there are 40 youngsters in foster care who are enjoying the loving care of
their foster moms. And the 25 boys and girls whose adoptions were
finalized last year are celebrating their first Mother's Day with their new
families.
In this day of fractured families, the price of a good mother is
truly FAR above rubies! A mother who has committed to lead her children
in the ways of the Lord, to nourish their dreams and their gifts, to patiently
teach and re-teach the life skills they must have to be successful adults --- a
mother who has committed to be present for her children --- that kind of
mother is a rare jewel.
This Mother's Day, remember the motherless boys and girls of The
Children's Home of Lubbock with a gift honoring your mother and the priceless
