BOB PALMER'S BOOK COMING SOON

Blue print
The wait is almost over! Bob's book on high performance for the Clay Target Sports will be released this fall in both e-book and soft cover versions.

This book is a must read for all clay target shooters who want to bring their sport to a whole new level.

You've spent the money on equipment and technical training and now is the time to make one more small investment in a book that will give you a blueprint to high performance and teach you how to get and stay in the Zone in both practice and competition.

The hold up is the cover as we've decided to commission an artist to do it.  It will be worth the wait!

Email us today to have your name added to our book mailing list.  We'll notify you as soon as the book is ready.

Note: For athletes in all other sports - our second book for you is coming later this fall!

SportExcel Hits the Road with
High Performance Clinics

At the end of September, Caron and I will hit the road with our high performance clinics for a month of travel in Western Canada and the US.  Our first stop is Calgary, Alberta, where we will be training triathletes, Ironman competitors, Olympic- level shooters and other athletes in various sports.  From there, we'll be travelling on to a clinic in Victoria, B.C. and other locations in the northwestern U.S. and Vancouver Island.

If you live in the northwest and would like to join in on one of our clinics, please give us a call.  If you would like to squeeze in an evening or day seminar at your club, contact us and we'll do our best to fit you in the schedule.

The Western Tour is a part of SportExcel's ambitious journey from coast to coast this season!
Bob Palmer in PEI
Bob in beautiful Prince Edward Island, Canada

In August we were in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Burlington, Massachusetts as part of a High Performance Tour on the Eastern Seaboard.

We were graciously hosted by Hank and Mary Garvey at the Minute Man Sportsman's Club for a weekend clinic for their young International clay target shooters, coaches and parents, along with special guest Olympic development coach, Les Greevy. They treated us very well and there is nothing like Boston fresh fish!

In Halifax, we had the privilege of working with Les Turner and members of the Dartmouth Clay Target Association at their fine facility on the ocean.  Thank you Les for hosting me as I enjoyed working with you and your colleagues, and look forward to watching your successes in the the next competitive season.

During our tour we managed to tie in some time visiting our daughter in Halifax as she conducted research on sharks for her Honours program and visiting friends at some beautiful spots in Maine, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island along the way!

So on to the Great Northwest.  Hope to see you at a clinic there soon!

To higher results
,
  Bob Palmer
Hey...Don't Think!

I recently published an article in a North American Clay Target Sports Magazine on the topic of NOT THINKING IN SPORT.

Little did I realize how much interest this article wThink buttonould spark,
and I certainly seemed to have hit a nerve!

This article was written for the claytarget sports but in reality is applicable to any athlete in any sport.  Judging by the response from my clay target audience, this tells me that my system and its new way of thinking (or of not thinking) is exactly what is needed in sport.

I've adapted the article so that it is applicable to all sports.
No thinking
