A Platinum Celebration!

Save the date for the Seabury STAR Auction
Saturday, March 6th, 2010    5:30pm

The Seabury STAR auction is right around the corner, March 6th at 5:30pm at the Landmark Convention Center in downtown Tacoma.   Invitations will go out by the end of next week, but be ahead of the crowd, and  reserve your spot today!  Tickets are only $65 per person, or just $480 for a table of eight (a $40 dollar discount).  I encourage you to bring your friends and family.  I have hosted a table of non-Seabury folks the past two years.  Every single one of them has said that they would love to come again.  It is a fun night and one to be shared!  Remember we have a block of rooms reserved at The Murano Hotel for $130 a night.  Transportation to and from the event is included when you stay at the Murano.
The auction cannot happen without donations, and we need more!

We are accepting donations until January 29th.  That is only three weeks away!  If you have a physical item that you would like to donate, but it will not be ready or available by January 29th, that's okay.  Please turn in the pledge form before January 29th for recording in the auction database, and bring in the item as soon as you can before the day of the auction.
Seabury families are required to use some your volunteer hours for the auction.  If you are looking for a way to fulfill your volunteer requirements, contact me or Joslyn in the office.  We have many jobs to get done before the auction to make it a success.
Again, if you have any questions, you can contact Dawn Vitale or Margaret Jacobsen.
This is going to be a great party and a fun way to support the school.  Many former families and alumni come back to the STAR auction each year to also support Seabury.  I look forward to seeing you there!
