We regret not getting a newsletter out for three months. This break in our regular news cycle is certainly not because of a lack of news to share. On the contrary we am having a hard time keeping up and progress being made by our teams in South Africa. We are getting close to our 2009 mission trip so it is definitely time to get an update out to our readers and supporters.
Crossroads - Boston - Durban Team
The team of eleven people lead by Paul Hickey left from Boston on June 12. They will be working with John Tempelhoff and his team in Durban to continue the Smart Choices program in Durban and the surrounding townships.

The team preparing to leave for Richards Bay will consist of four members, all from California this year. We leave on July 29, Robert and Nicholas return on August 16 and Mark and Glynn stay an extra week to take part in a fund raising activity in CapeTown on August 14 and then spend the rest of the third week with Zodwa in Soshanguve.
