Wine and Cheese Tasting:
Galen Glen Winery and Farm Fromage
Wednesday June 8th, 5:30-6:30 PM

Please join us at our next wine and cheese tasting event with Galen Glen
and Farm Fromage from 530PM until 630PM.  Weather permitting it will
be on the freshly landscaped terrace.  Folks should stop by and meet the winemaker and cheese expert to enjoy samples (i.e. free!).

Galen Glen is leading the way to excellence in Pennsylvania wines. They are the first local winery to receive a rating (89!) from Robert Parker.
Pink Sea Salt. Because we care. pink sea salt

The only salt we use in the kitchen at JJJ is Pink Himalayan sea salt.  We don't just finish with it, it is the only salt we use; even for our fermented vegetables that are served with our bread service.  I don't think any other restaurant in Central PA can make that claim.  We do it for health and flavor.  For health, you say?  Click here for info on the health claims for pink sea salt.

It is a considerable expense but our customers are worth it! The 60 pounds of Himalayan Pink sea salt we use every month is just another of the special things about JJJ.

Chef Cavanaugh's
Suggested Readings

As many of you know, Chef Cavanaugh has a constant stream of blogs, news articles, and books on his own reading list and he likes to share the interesting, the controversial, and of course the ones that support the mission of JJJ.  Here are this month's selections, enjoy!

We hope you had an enjoyable Memorial Day Weekend.  It is now officially al fresco dining season on our peaceful terrace!

Cheers!
