BC Combo (*formerly BC & The Blues Crew | Bluzin | BC & Company) remains an area favorite since 1992. They have produced 5 CDs. This group has earned every Best of... Lehigh Valley Music Award in their genres as songwriters and musicians, most recently being honored for 20 years in music. You can hear it in a cover or an original, it's their established sound that brings you right down to the Blues in every song, be it fused with rock, soul, gospel, folk, country, jazz, or R&B. They are based out of the Lehigh Valley, PA. Along with their originals, they cover groups like Sade, Etta James, Koko Taylor, Little Charlie & The Nightcats, Rolling Stones, Buddy Guy and even The Steve Miller Band, The Eagles and Lynyrd Skynrd.  They have shared stages with greats like Ray Charles, Shemekia Copeland, Lonnie Brooks, Son Seals, Koko Taylor, Eddie King, Saffire and many more. If you have the Blues or love the Blues, either will be remedied with a dose of BC Combo.

World Water Week: The TAP PROJECT
March 21 - 27
The UNICEF Tap Project® is an internationally recognized fundraising campaign that helps UNICEF raise awareness of the world water crisis and garner support to help the millions of children it impacts daily. During World Water Week, JJJ will be joining restaurants across the United States in encourage patrons to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free. And when you dine at JJJ your not just getting tap water - your getting water that tastes like water.  Our triple filter system provides you with the best tasting water that hasn't traveled a gazillion miles in plastic bottels.

Action: Visit JJJ between 3/21 and 3/27 and tell your server you want to add $1 to your bill for the water your drinking

OR...text "TAP" to UNICEF (864233) to make a $5 donation.

Beer On Tap: Goodbye and Hello!

Make sure to stop in this week for the last of the Nugget Nector.  JJJ was fortunate enought to finagle a third keg so come enjoy while it lasts!  We've got some great beers in the pipeline coming from Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA) exclusively for JJJ!  Keep an eye out for Upside Down Brown and Strangeways Nitro - should be on tap next weekend.  Also coming soon, the final offering of Troegs Rugged Trail.  This bronze and velvety smooth session beer is a staff favorite  (specifically Chef Carson!) and with this one keg we wish it a sad farewell from Troegs year-round line-up.

No matter how big or small it is always nice to receive recognition for the things we do here at JJJ.  It's a tough business (made tougher by our stringent mission) and nationwide, its tough times.  We've received top ratings on Trip Advisor and Urban Spoon and we're having fun hearing your kind words on facebook and twitter...keep 'em coming!

April Food on Film: The World According to Monsanto
Thursday April 1st, 7PM, Stahr Auditoriom @ F&M

No Monsanto
Monsanto supplies 90% of the genetically-modified seeds used by the US market, and owns the exclusive patents that define them as "intellectual property". Over the last decade, Monsanto aggressively bought up over 50 seed companies around the globe--now 90% of all GE seeds planted in the world are patented by Monsanto and hence controlled by them.

This chilling French documentary directed by independent filmmaker Marie-Monique Robin has been widely acclaimed as "one of the most powerful, must see films for anyone interested in the behind the scenes world of the food industry, and how just one world dominating corporation holds the keys and patents to much of the world's food supply."

Free and open to the public (though donations are appreciated!)

Co-sponsored by Lancaster BFBL, the Wohlsen Center for the Sustainable Environment and the Local Economy Center, Franklin & Marshall College.
Cheers!
