Campaign to End Child Homelessness Begins Work in Florida

Brother and sisterThe Campaign spent two days in June with Florida service providers as well as state and county officials to discuss ways the Campaign will make a difference in the lives of local children and families who are homeless. There are many exciting things happening in Florida to help children who are homeless, and we received pledges of support for the Campaign from all of the people with whom we met. The Campaign is continuing its work in Florida this fall and beyond!  Read more about Florida in America's Youngest Outcasts
Campaign to End Child Homelessness Endorses Resolution on Children's Right to Housing

Shy girlThe Campaign is pleased to endorse a resolution introduced in the US House of Representatives (House Resolution 582) supporting the right to housing for all children. Thank you to Representative Maxine Waters and the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty for this important initiative. The Campaign eagerly anticipates the passage of this resolution!  Learn more about the resolution.
Campaign to End Child Homelessness Featured at Horizons Conference

Brother Baby SisterThe Campaign was featured in two workshops at the Horizons for Homeless Children conference in Boston, MA. Service providers from across the country discussed how to join together and make an impact through the Campaign. A group of enthusiastic participants received the data from America's Youngest Outcasts and shared important ideas with the Campaign. Thank you to our colleagues at Horizons for Homeless Children for a very productive and informative conference and to all of our friends who participated.
Continue your commitment and activism in the Campaign to End Child Homelessness
