Thinking about buying a new comptuer for that special someone? Here are some guidelines of what we look for in a new computer.
- New, not refurbished. Warrantees are generally not as long on refurbished computers.
- Name Brand. You want to know that the manufacturer's warranty means something.
- We love Intel. Intel i3 processor or better. Processors can't be upgraded after the fact, get the best. i5 and i7 are even better
- If you are buying a laptop, make sure the battery is 6 cell or better.
- 4GB of RAM or more.
Here's what you need to know. If you have a printer that's more than 4 or 5 years old, it may not work with your new comptuer's Operating system. Look it up on your manufacturer's website.
