 The YMCA of Central New Mexico is the state's largest child care provider, with over 20 early learning, preschool and afterschool centers. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable child care that nurtures children's healthy social, physical, and mental development.
Our Early Learning and Preschool programs are curriculum based and believe that children develop physically, mentally and emotionally by actively participating through play.
Our learning environment is led by trained teachers who understand how young children learn and develop. With four centers through out Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Santa Fe, we provide service for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. |

At the Y, we care for kids! With so many demands on today's families, parents need all the support they can get. That's why at the Y it is about more than looking after kids. It's about nurturing their development by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
The YMCA meets all of your needs by providing safety, homework support, recreation, and enrichment for your child before and after school. Our caring staff and well-rounded curriculum provide opportunities for your child to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive setting.
The YMCA Before & Afterschool programs serve over 25 elementary schools in the city's of Albuquerque, Clovis and Santa Fe.

Teen Afterschool Programs

At the Y, teens have the opportunity to make friends, have fun, get active and discover who they are and what they can achieve.
Our activities, which range from leadership development to sports and arts will give your teen the opportunity to become a confident teen today and a healthier, happier grown-up tomorrow.
The Y teen leadership program has designed it's curriculum to improve your teen's education by providing afterschool activities that will enhance their potential through positive encouragement and valuable resources.
The YMCA serves five middle schools throughout the Albuquerque area.

 The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they'll carry with them throughout their life and the benefits are far greater than just physical health. Whether it's gaining the confidence that comes from learning to play basketball or building the positive
relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out.
