   BEST WISHES
TO EVERYONE!
Kudos to Bishop-Elect Wright!

Everyone knows by now that our very own Father Wright was elected the 10th Bishop of The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta.

On behalf of St. Paul's:

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ENTIRE DIOCESE ON AN OUTSTANDING CHOICE!

And to Father Wright:

WE ARE ALL SO VERY PROUD OF YOU!!

For more information about Father Wright's election, click here to read a news release from the Diocese including details regarding his ordination in October.

So, remember... Father Wright's work at St. Paul's is not finished yet! As he said in February when his candidacy was announced... our rector "remain[s] committed to working and planning for continued excellence in every endeavor."

In other words.... nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual St. Paul's extraordinary!

This Sunday: UTO Ingathering

UTO

"We give thanks for God's perfection and the many perfect blessings we experience each day."

Daily Word

The Spring Ingathering of the UNITED THANK OFFERING will be lifted this Sunday on June 10 at both services.

For more information, please contact Ida Demons at (404) 696-2307.

Call To Ushers

All current Ushers (and aspiring Ushers as well) are invited to join Father Wright in the sanctuary on Saturday, June 16 at 10:00 AM to review what it means to be an Usher and some of the ins and outs of this important ministry.

Anyone interested is encouraged to attend.

For more information, please contact Charles Fowler

Parish Leaders: What's Your Schedule?

The Church Office is asking all Committees, Organizations, Ministries, Groups, Circles, and Clubs to prepare a master agenda for the 2012-2013 program year (August thru May of next year).

This master agenda should include your meeting schedule, major events, and any additional dates, deadlines, or details pertinent to the creation of a church-wide overview of what's happening at St. Paul's.

THE DEADLINE IS JULY 16.

For more information, please contact Kelly King

at the church office (404) 696-3620.

Don't Let High Tides Lead to Low Tithes!

We know Summer means a slower pace and  a more relaxed attitude, but we'd like to remind everyone that the church budget never takes a vacation. Your stewardship is as important in July as it was in January

So while you're planning your getaways, please consider your giveaways... and please don't take your money to the beach!

Choir Season Finale: June 24

The Choir Season is ending in just a few weeks with the finale on June 24.

This is a big event for all the Choirs and the songs they will sing are the selected favorites of choir members. We truly hope that you will enjoy these selections, and all the Choirs thank you for your continued support throughout the year.

The new season will begin on Saturday, August 11 with a special retreat event at the Cathedral and everyone expects to have another exciting and fulfilling year.  As always, the choirs are open to new members and anyone interested in joining should contact Trey Clegg and plan to join in the annual retreat.

Additionally, as part of their Season Finale, the Choirs will be hosting the Coffee & Fellowship after both services on June 24 and dedicating their efforts to Father Wright in honor of his 10th Anniversary as Rector of St. Paul's.

If any parishioner and/or organization wishes to support the Choirs in hosting the Coffee & Fellowship, your donations of time or money are welcomed.

For more information, please contact Robert (Bob) Martin at robertemartin@bellsouth.net or 404-695-0140.

The Episcopal Churchmen is planning its annual trek to a baseball game (with tailgate party!) on Saturday, August 18. The game is @ 7:10 P.M. against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and that game is also a part of the Delta Civil Rights Weekend.

The ticket price is $35, which includes the tailgate party (hot dogs, hamburgers, and the works), in Bowden Hall beginning at 3:30 P.M.  You are responsible for your own transportation to Turner Field (some of us will ride MARTA).

To get the group sales price, we must purchase at least 30 tickets.

Tickets for this game are expected to sell quickly, and the Churchmen will purchase its tickets during the first week of July.  We will begin collecting for tickets this weekend.

THE DEADLINE TO PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THIS GAME IS SUNDAY, JULY 1, 2012.
