   BEST WISHES
TO EVERYONE!
ELECTION INFO: 10th Bishop of Atlanta

As everyone is likely aware, the election for the 10th Bishop of Atlanta takes place tomorrow on Saturday, June 2 at the Cathedral of St. Philip.

All information regarding the voting process can be found at the Bishop Search & Transition page of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta website.  Be sure to pay particular attention to the News and FAQs.

Here is an excerpt regarding Saturday's events (emphasis added in bold):

The day's proceedings begin with the Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. After the service, the Cathedral will be cleared temporarily to set up for the election. During the election only registered delegates will have access to the Cathedral floor; limited space is available for observers. The results of each ballot will be posted on the diocesan website, Facebook and Twitter. We, of course, have no way of knowing how many ballots it will take to reach an election, or how long the day will be.

For anyone unable to follow along as indicated above, don't fret! St. Paul's will send an email communication out just as soon we know and are able to push it through. If you haven't heard it from somewhere else, we'll be sure to let you know!

JUNE 3: Honor Sunday at St. Paul's

This Sunday, June 3, the Ambassadors will honor all of St. Paul's graduates (of all ages) and retirees with a special program in the sanctuary immediately following the 11:15 service.

Congratulations in advance to everyone!

Next Sunday: UTO Ingathering

UTO

"We give thanks for God's perfection and the many perfect blessings we experience each day."

Calendar Call: All Parish Leaders Check In!

The Church Office is asking all Committees, Organizations, Ministries, Groups, Circles, and Clubs to prepare a master agenda for the 2012-2013 program year (August thru May of next year).

This master agenda should include your meeting schedule, major events, and any additional dates, deadlines, or details pertinent to the creation of a church-wide overview of what's happening at St. Paul's.

THE DEADLINE IS JULY 16.

For more information, please contact Kelly King

at the church office (404) 696-3620.

We Mail, You Mail... We All Have New EMAIL!

The St. Paul's email transition is  successfully  complete!

The old, AOL addresses have been retired and the new, StPaulsATL.org email addresses are all up and running (despite a few technical glitches along the way - apologies to anyone whose email got kicked back!).

Please update your address books to reflect the following:

Father Wright: rwright@StPaulsATL.org

Father Fischer: cfischer@StPaulsATL.org

Trey Clegg: tclegg@StPaulsATL.org

Kelly King: kking@StPaulsATL.org

NEWSLETTER SUBMISSIONS: news@StPaulsATL.org

(The addresses aren't case-sensitive... they just "read" easier that way!)

Thanks to everyone (especially Ray Abram) for helping us take another stride across the technology frontier!

Wedding Anniversary Round-Up!

St. Paul's maintains a list of wedding anniversaries and it's time to make sure it's updated.

If you wish to appear on the Anniversary List (or removed from it) please email your information to Lillian Goodlett at: lhgoodlett1@aol.com

And thanks, Lillian for keeping the list!

Toddler Room: Summer Schedule

The Toddler Room (ages 1-3) will be staffed with a paid sitter during both services through the end of June.

For the month of July and early August, the room will remain open for use, but without hired help. Parents wishing to make use of the Toddler Road during this time are welcome to do so but will need to coordinate their own coverage.

The Toddler Room will resume its paid babysitter coverage when Sunday School resumes in August.

Email Azzari Jarrett for more information.

♪ Root, Root, Root for the Home Team... ♫

The Episcopal Churchmen is planning its annual trek to a baseball game (with tailgate party!) on Saturday, August 18. The game is @ 7:10 P.M. against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and that game is also a part of the Delta Civil Rights Weekend.

The ticket price is $35, which includes the tailgate party (hot dogs, hamburgers, and the works), in Bowden Hall beginning at 3:30 P.M.  You are responsible for your own transportation to Turner Field (some of us will ride MARTA).

To get the group sales price, we must purchase at least 30 tickets.

Tickets for this game are expected to sell quickly, and the Churchmen will purchase its tickets during the first week of July.  We will begin collecting for tickets this weekend.

THE DEADLINE TO PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THIS GAME IS SUNDAY, JULY 1, 2012.

For more information, contact Bob Martin at  robertemartin@bellsouth.net or call 404.695.0140.
