Episcopal Urban Caucus Assembly 2012

The Episcopal Urban Caucus has been underway and the EUC Eucharist took place yesterday evening at St. Paul's. Still to come tonight (March 2) is one of the highlights of the Episcopal Urban Caucus, the Banquet & Dance at the Holiday Inn.

Join your friends for some old school R&B provided by our very own Cookie Dean and her friends. A number of St. Paul's parishioners will be there... we hope you are, too!

Email Bruce Ingram or Carol Stone-Taylor for more details.
Look at the Sunday School Grow!

The 9AM Sunday School Classes are expanding!

Beginning this Sunday (March 4), the Middle School students will have their first class during the 9AM Worship.
This new class is offered once per month (on 1st Sunday only) and is open to grades 6-7-8.

This month, our Sunday School students will learn about the Mystery of Easter - Jesus' passion, death, and resurrection.  By exploring some of the emotions and events experienced by Christ, our students will be able to better understand the celebration of Easter.

UPCOMING CLASS SCHEDULE:

March 4 (1st Sunday)
9:00 AM: 3yo - 8th grade (Toddler Room Open)
11:15AM: 3yo - 12th grade (Toddler Room Open)

March 11 (2nd Sunday)
9:00 AM: Godly Play (3yr-K) & Toddler Room ONLY
11:15AM: Toddler Room ONLY
No Sunday School classes are held on 2nd Sunday
so that young parishioners may participate in congregational worship in the sanctuary.

March 18 (3rd Sunday)
9:00 AM: 3yo - 5th grade (Toddler Room Open)
11:15AM: 3yo - 12th grade (Toddler Room Open)

Trey will share the stage with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony Chamber Chorus/Chorus Soloists, and Guest Operatic Soloists in the performance of The St. Matthew Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Parental Proxies, Hear Our Plea!

First, thanks to everyone who has been such a tremendous support to the Toddler Room. We appreciate you!

Secondly, the Toddler Room and Godly Play are both still in need of folks to assist during the 9:00 AM and 11:15 AM services.

Don't worry, your part is easy! We've got professional sitters and experienced teachers running the shows... what they don't have is 4 arms, 2 heads, and a 360° range of vision. (That's where you come in.)

Pitch in with setting up the rooms and putting things away, get folks signed in and out, hand out snacks, walk students to the restroom and back... that sort of thing. Basically, just be helpful and you're automatically AWESOME!

Contact Joy Jones or Azzari Jarrett or just swing by before or after worship to add your name to the sign-up list. No experience is necessary, open to all ages from 18 - 108! If you've got a kind heart, a patient spirit, and a willingness to help... we can't wait to have you!

Email Joy Jones or Azzari Jarrett to ask about available sign-up dates.
