May your mailbox (and inbox) overflow with heartfelt expressions from loved ones. And in the flurry of well-wishes, we hope our sincere gratitude rings loud and clear!
Your faithful prayer, your generous support...your friendship is so deeply appreciated. We pray for you often, thanking God for you. Truly, it is impossible to convey all that you mean to us. We are blessed to know you.
An important preview
For most of us, things finally slow down a bit around the holidays. In between leftovers and family reunions, I'm hoping you will find a quiet minute or two to read through an important preview I'll be sending you in the days ahead. . . .
Deanna and I traveled more this year than the last three combined. God drenched us with His healing grace, His fruitfulness and His favor. On each trip, I packed the same prayer request in my "carry-on," that I would clearly understand His blueprints for our "homestretch." Since our missional re-start in the fall of 2010, I've spent countless hours (and miles) at the Lord's "drafting table."
By faith, I'm convinced of three things: 1) God wants us to continue walking till breakthrough comes. 2) The birth pangs of breakthrough are at hand. 3) As we press into repentance-in-unity, the sense of awe many of us are feeling (especially fellow pastors and leaders) is not just a passing phase; it is a new place of supernatural unity, according to Christ's prayer in John 17...overflowing with His harvest.
Just days from now, I'll send you a preview of these "blueprints," outlining the Miracle, Mission, Mandate, Message and Momentum we are pursuing by faith, under the required Biblical caveat, "If the Lord wills..." (See James 4:13-17)
A personal prayer request
These blueprints will focus on 70 national break-out regions and will precede the next phase of an integrated, behind-the-scenes support-raising effort at the start of 2012. (General-delivery emails will not be used for this campaign.)
Speaking of fundraising...knowing that many (including me) have been grieved by the manipulative shenanigans of a few "bad apples," I ask for your prayer-covering, that I might communicate our needs clearly and simply, without bias or apology. And so, please pray for yielded hearts in those whom God is calling even now to support us.
 More blessed to give than to receive
Those "red letters" in Acts 20:35 are as true for us as they are for you. Please don't deny us the opportunity to bless you! If you have a prayer request, a comment or a question, please don't hesitate to reply to any of these emails. I personally read every reply and we would be honored to hear from you.
