The Citizens Campaign Chair receives prestigious Governor's Jefferson Award.

The Citizens Campaign Chairman Harry Pozycki was presented the Governor's Jefferson Award for volunteering his time and serving as an outstanding Founder/Innovator.

The Governor's Jefferson Awards is a partnership of the New Jersey Office of Volunteerism, Star-Ledger, and the Community Foundation of New Jersey.

At the awards ceremony Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno said, "Volunteerism is truly compassion in action, and these citizens have not only identified priority needs, but have found unique ways to address those needs."

We are truly honored to have a dedicated chairman who has truly found a unique way of building a stronger citizenry. A special thank you to Perth Amboy resident Tracy Jordan (pictured left) for nominating Harry.

Jean Holtz
A CALL TO SERVICE PROFILE: JEAN HOLTZ
VP of Communications & Operations
New Brunswick Development Corp. (Devco)
Jean Holz was a participant at the ArtPride event, and we couldn't help but take note of all her civic contributions to New Brunswick. Jean doesn't live in New Brunswick, but as a leader at Devco she recognizes that economic development is more than building businesses but is also building strong communities. Jean is a member New Brunswick Hyperlocal Advisory Board to ensure there is quality news coverage of the city, she is a founding member of New Brunswick Community Food Alliance which provides access to healthy and fresh food, and she works with the New Brunswick Art Council to catalogue, engage, and publicize the Arts in the Hub City. If that wasn't enough, she also is on the Advisory Committee for Elijah's Promise and a member of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Community Relations Committee.

Jean exemplifies what it means to "Answer the Call to Service."
