Camden Call to Service Summit April 1, 2011

 
Call to Service Summits held in Monroe, Camden, Palmyra, Passaic, Paterson, Trenton, Willingboro, Jersey City, Newark, and Mount Holly. Over 300 Camden citizens came out for their City's Summit!

New Local Best Price Insurance ordinance
has saved millions and a State version was introduced in the New Jersey Senate. New environmental ordinances added to Ready to Adopt list. Town by town Google map showing the Citizens Campaign's laws that have been passed motivates more citizen leadership.  

 

Maria Garcia, Perth AmboyCitizens Campaign in the Cities- Newark Redevelopment Pay to Play Reform passed by Erika Key. Camden and Atlantic City pass Pay to Play Reform. Paterson Pay to Play Reform & Best Price Insurance passed by Jesse McCaskill & Mark Lazarus. Perth Amboy Best Price Insurance & Sustainable Jersey Resolution passed by Maria Garcia. Four major reforms in one council meeting passed by Sharron Little in Plainfield. New Brunswick Auxiliary Police Force initiated. Trenton Green Team created.

Celebration of Leadership- The Citizens Campaign's  dinner honoring Gov. Byrne & Gov Kean featured an  inspiring show of bi-partisanship, Call to Service speeches and great humor.
