PLAINFIELD GOES WHERE FEW CITIES HAVE GONE BEFORE

Last Monday, the Plainfield City Council adopted a sweeping package of 4 Citizens Campaign reform ordinances, restoring public trust & setting an example for the rest of the State. The 4 ordinances now await the Mayor's approval.  Plainfield resident Scharron Little (pictured) used her "citizen legislator" skills to win Council adoption of the laws. Are you ready to follow Scharron and Plainfield's lead?

Do you want to get results on an issue or have ideas on how to improve your town's quality of life?   Check out your town's website or ask your City Clerk for a list of the municipal boards and commissions.  Most towns make new appointments in the first week of January.   See if there are expiring terms or vacancies and apply now!
