PARTY DEMOCRACY ACT ADVANCES
Legislation opens up the County Political parties

The Party Democracy Act (A-1904) was unanimously voted out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee on Monday. Please help us in the final push to pass the bill.

Please contact Speaker Roberts and your Assembly representatives to support A-1904!

The Party Democracy Act is critically important to ensure that county political parties have constitutions & bylaws and they use fair procedures when voting to fill vacancies in public office.

If you have any questions about the legislation, please contact Heather Taylor or call (732) 548-9798 x.1
PATERSON INVITES YOUTH TO PARTICIPATE
 Paterson Council Meeting
Paterson City Council approved an ordinance creating "Youth Ambassadors" to the Paterson Youth Guidance Commission.

This ordinance was in response to a proposal by Paterson Citizens' Campaign members.

The Paterson Youth Ambassadors will have an opportunity to speak up and advise the city on critical issues facing the youth in Paterson.

Please join us this Thursday for the "Paterson Sweet Escape" to celebrate this latest achievement and the Paterson Call to Service.   For more information about this event or the Paterson Call to Service, contact Orville Morales at (732) 485-8394.
