Green Day on February 4th |
On Thursday morning, February 4th, Day Middle School will be presenting its first Green Day. There will be exhibits in the library, speakers in the classrooms and we're hoping for games in the gym -- all designed to help the students better understand their relationship to and impact on the earth.
We are in need of parent volunteers to help set up, staff exhibits, and clean up. If you are able to help out for even an hour or two during the morning, please contact Ramona Hamblin. |

Faculty Foul-Ups |
The Faculty Foul-Ups fundraiser is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, February 5th. For those of you new to the school, Faculty Foul-Ups is a Day School tradition in the form of a basketball shooting competition between members of the Day faculty. The weeks before the event, students and staff submit guesses (for a small fee) as to how many baskets teachers will make.
Can you spare some time during the student lunchtimes any day between Monday, Jan. 25 and Friday, Feb. 5th to help sell "guesses"? Come with a friend and get a chance to catch up! If you can help out, please contact Lisa Conti. Or, just click here to sign up via the doodle poll!
