Second most important: please remember that school gets out at 11:30 am tomorrow (Wednesday). No lunch will be served.

Day Directories are here! |
If you are a family new to Day, a 6th grade family, or if you ordered a directory, you should be getting a directory starting Wednesday! We distributed them to homeroom teachers on Tuesday afternoon - each copy was labelled with your child's name and homeroom, just in case.
As I'm sure you can imagine, producing the directory is a rather large task. A tip of the hat to everyone who helped: Alice Cunningham, Celia Kwartler, Donna Worthing, Kitty Yeung, and of course, Lori Gandolfo.
Thank you also to all the artists who submitted dragons for the cover. Congratulations to Xin Song for our cover art and to the six runners up whose dragons appear on the back cover: Noah Pinnolis, Ellie Strayer, Charles Attisano, Alexander Lund, Alex Montague, and Daniella Hanelin.
There are extra directories for sale for $10. If you are interested in purchasing a copy, please get in touch with us ASAP. |

Special Education News |

The Newton Parent Advisory Council for Special Education serves as a resource for parents and as a liaison between parents and the school administration. All parents, teachers, specialists and others with an interest in education are welcome.
Inclusive Schools Week is an annual event that is celebrated during the first week of December. This year the dates are December 7 - 11, 2009, and the theme is Inclusive Technology. For more information about the 2009 celebration, go here.
