Tomorrow will be a GREAT Teacher Luncheon.

We've had a great response -- you all are very generous!
What we could use is a couple more pair of hands for set up and clean up. Bring a friend! Kids are welcome to help with set up and clean up too, but we'll all clear out during the luncheon itself.
Set up starts 9am in the Library, where the luncheon is held. Clean up starts at 12:30pm in the library (see the tip below for parents of new students and parents of 6th graders). Let us know if you can make it -- we'd love to see you!
Some reminders:
- Drop off food after 10AM in the library or as early as 7:30AM in the main office.
- The lunch itself starts at 11am, so PLEASE drop off your things early!
- There are no dietary restrictions or allergies to worry about. Just in case, please label items with nuts and meat.
- Given the increase in food costs financial donations are appreciated and can be dropped off in the main office (mark the envelope PTO -- we have a mailbox there) -- or sent in via PayPal (just specify in the notes section that it's for the teacher lunch). Checks can be made out to FA Day PTO.

A tip for parents of 6th graders and new students ...
If you and your child show up at the library to help clean up at about 12:30 you'll have a chance to say hi to other parents and can oh so casually -- and briefly -- look about the school. (Just don't forget to help clean up first!!)
The ice cream social starts at 1:15, so clean up will be over by then. And parents need to be gone by 1:15! Gotta give the kids a chance to see the school on their own, after all. |
