Mentoring:
By definition Mentor, in Greek Mythology was Odysseus's trusted counselor.To serve as a wise, trusted counselor or teacher to (another person).
As a student of generational marketing, I highly recommend Ken Gronbach's book, The Age Curve: How to Profit from the Coming Demographic Storm. The premise of this book is that when the Baby Boomers age out of the prime spot, Gen X, which is much smaller become the prime consumers. The looming giant though is Gen Y, which will be significantly larger than the Baby Boomers. As the parade of the generations continue, it is imperative that we mentor the generations that are aging up, as others age out.
How are you serving to guide, assist and help younger generations? We have so much richness to share with each other: history, wisdom, dreams, accomplishments, difficulties.
PLease Mentor someone, professionally and/or personally. The rewards are priceless.
