Parents' Night Out
Dec. 5 and 13

Bring kids by for holiday fun while you shop! Dinner, crafts, games, and fun will be provided.
There is no fee, but donations are welcome. Funds will be used for nursery makeover.

Wednesday Night Schedule
5:30 pm: Holy Eucharist and Healing in the Chapel
6:00 pm: Dinner.
Cost of Dinner is $6.00 per person and $20 per family. We had to raise the cost because of the rising cost of food. To keep from over buying food it is VERY IMPORTANT to sign up ahead of time. You can sign up by calling the church weekly and paying at the door. Or you can mail in a reservation from with a check for a single month, multiple months, or the entire 15 weeks.
No Wed. Night Supper on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
12/3: Parish Advent Wreath Making at 6:30 pm
12/10 and 12/17, 6:45 pm - 7 :15 pm: Taize Service (Contemplative Advent Worship)
Slow Down. Be Quiet. It's Advent. Take 30 minutes for quiet contemplative prayer during the busy Advent season to prepare your heart and mind for mystery of Christmas. Service will include Taize chants, silence, scripture, and intercessory prayer. Childcare provided.
7:30 pm: Adult Choir Practice. The Choir is seeking new members. All are welcome.
Dec. 10: Outreach Commission meets Second Wednesday of the month. The outreach commission meets in the conference room behind the kitchen. All members of the parish are invited to become part of the outreach commission. Please consider joining this vital parish ministry.

 Thursday Morning Study Group Led by Karla Woggon, this group meets every Thursday from 10-11:30 am in the youth room downstairs.
Men and women of all ages are encouraged to attend. Child care is provided upon request.
Join us as we prepare our hearts for Christmas by studying the Bible reading from Advent.
We will be starting a new study in a few weeks, so if you have time during the day consider joining this dynamic study group. Led by The Rev. Karla Woggon. |
 Holy Baptism this Sunday
Help to welcome the newest member of Ascension this Sunday in the sacrament of Holy Baptism at the 10:30 service.

 Visit from St. Nicholas 12/7/08 St. Nicholas will be visiting Ascension this Sunday.
He will be visiting the Sunday School Classes, processing at the 10:30 service, and attending Children's Chapel.
Be sure to bring the children for this festive event!
