| Spring Soiree 2010

Over 80 people enjoyed Caffe Dolce appetizers, wine, and 
Lo/Horgan jazz at our first annual Spring Soiree on May 23.
James Lee Burke regaled the audience with tales of standout teachers and the day Irving Stone came to school.
Lois Welch awarded the first James Welch Residency for Young Writers to Arlee School. Writers read, more donors were featured (especially Arthur Prange, Zan Bockes, and The Pleiades Foundation), and art, fishing trips, and river adventures were auctioned. All in all, a wonderful evening.
