Spring News
 from
 the
Missoula Writing      Collaborative

Spring is sprung
The grass is ris,
I wonder where
The birdies is.

It's snowing as I write, during the last week of April.  Gray verging on bleak.  However, I predict that by the time you read this the world will have switched to color and fledgling poets across the land will be singing "Ding Dong the Winter's Dead!"

Join the mood at some of our spring readings.  A few early birds you might have missed, but others are listed here, and more are in the offing.  They will be posted on our website under News and Events.

Hope to see you soon!

Thanks to Barnes and Noble for hosting this April 26th Lone Rock School reading.

Softer Than My Dog

My dog is softer than a pillow, than the carpet,
softer than my friend's head, softer than a ball of cotton,
softer than cotton candy, softer than somebody's poofy hair,
softer than a baby's bottom.

A LUNE FOR THE MOON

Imagine the moon
shining bright in the sky
watching everyone.
