During the 2006 season Brett Nightingale
was a productive member of the Gold Sox
Club that went 32-8 and won the Horizon
Air Summer Series title.

Following his summer with the Gold Sox,
Brett returned to Angelo State University
and helped the Ram's get to the College
Baseball World Series in 2007 while
earning 2nd team All Lone Star Conference
honors for his play at 3rd base.

Nagging injuries brought his baseball career to an end so after graduation Brett returned to his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma where he works in the banking industry.   The single 25 year old is in the process moving to Dallas.

In addition to his wonderful memories of the extraordinary fans and dancing with Mr. G to the YMCA, Brett's fondest Gold Sox memory occurred in a road game against the Solano Thunderbirds when then pitching coach Jack Johnson was tossed from the game following a bench clearing donnybrook.

Brett continues to keep in contact with former Gold Sox players, Etienne Matierre, Jonathan Dees, Chris, Chavez, Matt Kavanaugh and Doug Thennis.
