LA Mayoral Candidates Debate - Tomorrow Night

 

On Wednesday, September 19th, the Hollywood Chamber and the Hollywood Chamber Political Action Committee (PAC) invite you to attend our first-ever LA Mayoral Candidates Debate, moderated by broadcast journalist Tracie Savage. The debate will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Taglyan Complex, 1201 Vine St., in Hollywood.

 

This will be the first major debate of the campaign season.  Mayoral candidates confirmed to participate in the debate include Eric Garcetti, Los Angeles City Council Member, CD13; Wendy Greuel, Los Angeles City Controller; Kevin James, Attorney and Former Radio Broadcaster; and Jan Perry, Los Angeles City Council Member, CD 9.  "The Chamber and our PAC recognize just how important this election is in determining the future for our Hollywood business community and for businesses throughout the City," stated Sam Smith, Chairman of the Hollywood Chamber PAC. "We are delighted to have all four major Mayoral candidates participating in the debate."

 

Co-sponsors of this debate include Beverly Hills / Greater LA Association of Realtors, Genesis Financial, Go! Goldman Organization, Hollywood Hotel, McDonald's, Millennium Hollywood, Paramount Contractors & Developers, Taglyan Cultural Complex.  Community partner organizations include the East Hollywood BID, Hollywood Property Owners Alliance, Hollywood Beautification Team, My Friend's Place, The Musicians Foundation.

 

In order to better educate the Hollywood business and residential community on their choices for the next Mayor of Los Angeles, the Chamber is promoting this event to the greater Hollywood business and residential community. The event is free to attend. Chamber members and the community are encouraged to attend this important event. However, due to limited space available, reservations are strongly encouraged. Taglyan Cultural Complex is located at 1201 Vine St. in Hollywood. Valet parking is $6.
