City Council - Hollywood Community Plan Update. We Need a FULL House

By now you know what's at stake if this Hollywood Community Plan goes forward in its current form. Will you take one day off to show the City Council that you are serious about the future of Hollywood and all of Los Angeles?

This Tuesday, June 19th at 10 am, City Council will convene. The seats need to be full of passionate neighbors willing to show up to this last hearing!

Call the City for free parking the night before (213-485-3337).

The petition is still going strong with 1,122 signatures. Have you signed?

Go to SaveHollywood.org and after you've signed the petition forward that link to all your friends and loved ones.

I care about Hollywood and OPPOSE the current version of the Hollywood Community Plan. It must be modified to take into consideration correct census data, height limits, infrastructure, emergency services and to alleviate density and congestion. There must be a downzoning alternative. Please vote NO on the proposed Hollywood Community Plan.

Neighbor/Actor, Ann Ryerson Hall Says:

Hello friends and neighbors!

I am part of a play development group called Fierce Backbone. Our writers and actors are putting on 7 different shows in the Hollywood Fringe Festival, which is just starting now, and runs for about two weeks.

There are over 100 shows in the whole Fringe Festival. All shows in the Fringe run about an hour and prices are cheap. All the shows are in Hollywood.

The one I'm working on is called Interventions. I've listed the show times for you, below.

I would be pleased to see any of you there.
